Our Inpatient Mental Health Treatment Program at Georgetown Behavioral Health Institute is designed to help adolescents and their families as they navigate mental health treatment. Family involvement is a crucial component for success and recovery. Find out how you can help if a loved one is struggling with their mental health.
Adolescent Programs (Ages 13-17)
Our adolescent programs are used to identify psychological problems and build upon inherent strengths to change problem behaviors and destructive thought patterns into pathways for healthy growth and development.
Inpatient Mental Health Treatment Programs
Our inpatient mental health treatment programs help teens with building resiliency, self-reflection, empathy, regulation, and mindfulness, and lay the foundations for these positive pathways. We provide a therapeutic and welcoming atmosphere that aids in developing skills that will help them engage and communicate in healthy and effective ways.
Our comfortable unit gives teens a safe and light-filled space to heal and grow. Our team of highly educated and caring staff will assist each individual in becoming accustomed to the daily routine and schedule. Teens will spend each full day engaged in a variety of groups, but will also have time for meals, gym use, recreational activities, and time outdoors (weather permitting).
